Hands-Off service · $97 add-on to any migration package

Struggling with setup? Let us do it for you.

Your migration is paid for. The only thing between you and a finished store is connecting the two Shopify accounts — and if that step means API keys and developer dashboards to you, hand it over. For $97, your migration engineer logs in and does every technical step personally.

What the $97 actually buys you

Every migration package already includes the migration itself, run and verified twice on our servers. What changes with Hands-Off is who does the setup.

Self-service (included)

  • Open the Shopify Dev Dashboard on both stores
  • Create a custom app in each and choose the right API scopes out of 50+
  • Copy the Client ID, secret and Admin API access token
  • Install the app on each store, then paste every token into your customer area
  • Re-check permissions if anything comes back as missing

Hands-Off ($97)

  • You type the email + password you already use to log in to each store — nothing else
  • Your engineer signs in and creates secure, scoped app access on both stores for you
  • They run the entire migration and verify every record
  • They tell you when it's done and what to switch back on (2FA)
  • Zero technical steps on your side — you go make a coffee
Struggling with setup? Let us do it for you, just $97
Not technical? Skip the API keys, Client IDs, OAuth scopes and the Dev Dashboard. All you type is the email + password you already use to log in to Shopify, and your personal migration engineer sets up secure access, runs the entire migration and verifies every record.
Hands-off only: turn OFF two-factor authentication (2FA) on both stores
Shopify admin → your account → Manage account → Security → turn off two-step authentication. Turn it back on the moment your migration is complete. Self-service options never need your password — 2FA stays on.

How it works

  1. Add the service — one click

Opened this page from a reminder email? The button above charges $97 to the card you paid with and attaches the service to your order instantly. Otherwise it takes you to sign in first, so it lands on the right order.

  2. Turn off 2FA and enter your two logins

Two-step authentication would lock your engineer out, so switch it off on both stores first (Shopify admin → your account → Manage account → Security). Then type the login email and password for each store in your customer area — the fields unlock the moment the service is on your order.

  3. Your engineer does everything

They sign in, set up secure app access on both stores, run the full migration and verify it twice. You get an email when it's finished and your verification report waits in your customer area. Then turn 2FA back on.

🔒 Your logins are safe. Encrypted at rest (AES-256), decrypted only by your migration engineer, automatically deleted 30 days after you save them — and you can delete them yourself any time from your customer area. Change the password afterwards if you'd like to be doubly sure.

Questions

Do I still have to connect my stores myself?

No — that is the whole point. Connecting the stores is the step this service takes off your plate. Once the service is on your order and your logins are saved, the daily "connect your stores" reminders stop and your engineer takes it from there.

I bought Concierge or Enterprise — do I need this?

No. Both white-glove packages already include hands-off setup, so the option never appears on those orders and you will not be charged for it.

When and how am I charged?

Once, $97, when you click the button. If you arrived from an email about your order it goes straight to the card on file; otherwise you sign in and the same one-click button is on your order page. No subscription, nothing recurring.

Why does 2FA have to be off?

Two-step authentication sends a code to your phone at every login, which would stop your engineer signing in. Turn it off only for the migration and switch it back on the moment you get the completion email. Self-service setup never needs your password, so if you connect the stores yourself, 2FA stays on.

Is my live store at risk?

No. The migration only reads from your current store — it keeps selling as normal the whole time. Nothing changes there until you approve the cutover, exactly as with a self-service connection.
